Fresh Start is an official selection of the Africa World Documentary Film Festival, a traveling exhibition of films, promoting knowledge and culture of the people of Africa, in a Pan-African context. Multiple screenings are scheduled in the US, Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean. Fresh Start will be screened in Saint Louis, MO; Stellenbosch, South Africa and Lagos, Nigeria.

Oculus Launch Pad

I was selected to participate in the Oculus Launch Pad program this summer.  Now in its second year, Oculus Launch Pad provides women, people of color, members of the LGBTQ community, and people from other underrepresented backgrounds funding and resources to ensure diversity of thought in the VR ecosystem. This year, Launch Pad kicked off with a weekend boot camp at Facebook headquarters on June 10 and 11. I am developing a VR documentary series as part of this program.
