Visiting artist: Daniel Enrique Garcia, an Assistant Professor of Communication Arts and Sciences at Calvin College, produced and directed Lurigancho (2002), a documentary that examines the lives of minority inmates at a Peruvian prison.

Visiting artist: Brian Plow, an Assistant Professor of Electronic Media and Film at Towson University, produced and directed Home (2008), a documentary that examines the story of baseball, urban redevelopment and the human cost of bringing them to York, PA.
This is a story of an American urban space and its complex transformation. It is also the story of one woman’s experience, leaving her home of 50 years, starting over and perhaps paying the biggest price of all for baseball and the city.

for Participation for a session in the Southeastern College
Art Conference. Tracing the Moving Image: Intersections of Fine
Arts and Cinema. This session will explore moving image as a
fine arts medium and focus on the intersection of visual art
and cinema. I am seeking papers and artists’ presentations,
which will illuminate different facades of this hybrid/cognitive
medium.

Italy that facilitates screenings throughout the city in conjunction
with a weekly appointment at Rialtosantambrogio during the Blueroom
evening.
